This gave her a great sense of self-worth and appreciation for individuality.  SEE MORE

Jessica Barks, Director of Mental Health and Community Development

As a trauma-informed therapist, Jessica believes that in many cases issues such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, addiction, OCD, and eating disorders can be linked to early experiences of trauma. Trauma lives in the body and can often affect the language center of the brain, making it difficult to process using talk therapy only. Art therapy provides a contained way to connect to the body, establish safety, and eventually get to the root of unconscious, psychological turmoil. As an art therapist, she will join you collaboratively and with unconditional support throughout your journey of self-discovery and healing. SEE MORE

Teresa Barber, Director of Fly Fishing Education and Curriculum Development

Teresa was learning how to chase fish on a fly long before it became cool for girls to fly fish.

She grew up learning and then as an adult in the military enjoyed having the opportunity to get away up to the mountains to relax and recuperate with a fly rod in her hand. She is affectionately known as the “fun aunt” for taking all the little people in her life out to the water to get them fly fishing.

She loves to take other disabled veterans out and get them on the water to find peace from PTSD and other physical ailments. Having overcome injuries and illness herself, she has a unique perspective and ability to help people gain access to the water and fishing regardless of physical ability. SEE MORE
